Research Centre
The Research Centre, which is registered with the Slovenian Research Agency under the code 0586-003, comprises 54 registered researchers - 25 professors, 24 assistants, 3 researchers and 2 assistant researchers. The researchers work in the eCentre, the independent laboratories and the Centre for Applicative Research. The laboratories have been established to enable the practical execution of research and educational work in the form of research papers and projects. The researchers participate in domestic and foreign research projects - i.e. tenders published by ministries - as well as in international European projects, i.e. the European Union research programmes. In addition, the researchers participate in applicative projects executed in partnership with other organizations.
Within the Research Centre, a Project Office has been operating since early 2005, serving as a support service for following public tenders, cooperation in the preparation of project proposals and for monitoring projects. So far, the Project Office has successfully applied for and completed more than 25 domestic and European projects.
Furthermore, the Research Centre takes care of executing doctoral studies at FOS. The basic information on doctoral studies for PhD candidates and PhD students are published in the study section.
