Student Organization at Faculty of Organizational Sciences Kranj
Student Organization at, in short term SO FOV is an organization, which combines graduate and postgraduate students of Faculty of Organizational Sciences Kranj and works in interest of progress and development of the Faculty, whole university, university city, wider region, republic of Slovenia, but most of all in interest of students. Each student, when entry on FOV automaticly becomes its member. It was established by student organization at University of Maribor (SOUM), which in comparison with SO FOV takes care of student rights on regional and national level over Student Organization of Slovenia (SOS). It assurs interest activities of students with own performances and with financing other societies and legal subjects with unprofitable character. Activities of SO FOV is managed by statute of Faculty of Organizational Sciences Kranj and its acts.
Student organization has their seat in FOV basement offices. You can go there for advice, help or with fresh ideas and suggestions or you can contact them by email for more information.

DEPARTMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
The task of the department for International cooperation is presenting students foreign countries, their culture, way of life, possibility for studying in other countries, international student exchange, conferences ans seminars,…

ERASMUS STUDENT NETWORK KRANJ
ESN Kranj exists from 1999 and it is fully authorized member of Erasmus Student Network. Usually has university only one section of ESN, but Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FOV) is the only faculty located 143 km away from University of Maribor, so we decided to establish a new ESN section Kranj.
Today we are still part of Student organization of Faculty of Organizational Sciences Kranj (SO FOV). SO FOV is our main, and we can say the only source of income, for that we are very gratefull.
Our priorities
- Reception of new students from other countries, which arrived to study on FOV, in cooperation with AIESEC Kranj. Like: informing with practical informations, organizing free time and local activities (traveling across Slovenia, sport events, student parties...)
- Informaing students FOV regarding Erasmus program and giving them information about studying abroad.
Projects, meetings
Our main projects are: Erasmus day - presentation of Erasmus program and possibilities of studying abroad for FOV students and design of ESN web page for Slovenia. Besides that we visit every year Annual General Meeting and meetings of National ESN platform. Our future goal is to expand possibilities of studying on foreign Faculties for FOV students.

DEPARTMENT FOR INTEREST ACTIVITIES
Works on cultural field, social gatherings and parties, and prepares for the students of SO FOV and Kranj projects like:

- student recreation

- student evenings
- new year's party

DEPARTMENT FOR SOCIAL QUESTIONS
Their activities are on the field of social questions of the students, global arrangements of social status students of SO FOV, individual problems,… Projects which runs in this department:

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Is trying to make subjects of FOV more friendly to students, so they can finish FOV sooner and with less problems. The department is also informing the students about local and global subjects, their student rights and for more quality study time. Projects which runs in this department:

INFO POINT
Info point is a bond between individuals, institutions and organizations, which works with youth. Headquarters of Info Point is in the basement of FOV. Our activities devides on internal and external services. Internal services are for official workers and co-workers of SO FOV. Main goal of external services is to enable access to quality informations for regular and exceptional graduate and postgraduate students. That's why the Info Point is distributing a material which informs the students about actuall events in upper Carniola.
Info Point is offering informations about fellow traveller head office, international office, foreign languages classes and other classes, free rooms, selling student insurances in case of accidents, etc.. We are also offering students lots of benefits in interest activities like tickets for the cinema, theater, swimming pool, purchasing of international student cards, hitchhikers cards, monthly cards for fitness and aerobics, sauna and tickets for cultural events and concerts. We have also very wide library of class notes.
